Itinerary

Most of our tour itineraries & packages are private as we aim to clear the ground for purely-cultural experiences while maintaining the delivery of personal services. However, we may take shared bookings on some occasions when the group (maximum 8) is already set. The featured price can change based on the number of passengers & the category of the desert camp.

Day 1 – Fes – Ifran – Midelt – Rich – Todra Gorge

After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad, your private driver-guide will take you on a journey of a lifetime experience. You’ll initially drive through Ifran (selected as the 2nd cleanest city in the world in 2015 and is called the Switzerland version city of Morocco). You’ll have another short break in the UNESCO-preserved cedar forest of the Middle Atlas.

This forest hosts a colony of Barbary apes that are often easy to approach and even feed. Continue on the track further south through Midelt to a tiny town called Rich. Here, we’ll take a secondary road through Imilchil before getting to Todra Gorge marking the end of today’s expedition.

• Overnight accommodation in Auberge Le Festival, Dar Ayour, or similar – Dinner and breakfast are included.

Day 2 – Todra Gorge – Tinejdad – Erfoud –  Merzouga

After having breakfast, you’ll resume your journey with your private driver-guide through his eyes you’ll explore the desert area differently. drive through the palm oasis of Tinejdad where you’ll appreciate the beauty and tranquility of the region. En route, you’ll see many scattered “Berber” villages that were built in adobe and stones. Cross the city of Erfoud towards the Erg Chebbi sand dunes.

Upon arrival in the desert, you’ll have a time of relaxation before having a journey on a camel to attend the sunset view atop the sand dune. You can opt for sandboarding or just take some rare shots. After that, you’ll return back to the desert camp for dinner & overnight in the private tent or under the stars.

• Overnight accommodation in a luxury en suite tent desert camp – Dinner, and breakfast are included.

Day 3 – Merzouga – Errachidia – Azrou – Ifran – Fes

Early wake in the morning, climb up the sand dune to attend the majestic view of sunrise. Then, enjoy a nice breakfast served under the sunlight before heading back to Fes through Errachidia, Midelt, and Ifrane. We’ll include numerous stops on the way for taking pictures and for making the drive less hectic.

As always, we’ll make sure to get to your place safely and in style. We’ll drop you off in your hotel but if it’s inaccessible for the car, then we’ll arrange with the staff members of the Riad you are staying in to come to escort you.
